Our troop will consist of 21 girl scouts. We have 1 or 2 opening remaining. Our primary method of communication is electronically via email or text. Telephone calls are also accepted.
Uniforms & Books
Each Girl will need the aMUSE Journey book ($7). Each Girl will need to wear a uniform, either a vest or sash with required patches and pins. During celebrations and ceremonies girls must wear a complete uniform which consist of Girl Scout Vest or Sash with associated patches and pins, khaki pants, skirt, or shorts, and solid shoes. Unless notified girls must wear their vest or sash to all meetings and Girl Scout events.
The meeting will be Girl-Led. Because we have 21 girl scouts, our troop will be separated into 3 patrols of 7 girl scouts. The girls will remain in a patrol for 3 months {Sep/Oct/Nov – Dec/Jan/Feb – Mar/Apr/May} and then rotate patrols. The girls will have a Kaper Chart to determine what will be their part during the meeting. For example: Take attendance/collect dues/collect votes/leader…etc.

Meeting
Our troop meeting will be held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 6:15 – 7:30 in the Marbut Cafeteria unless notified of location change. (Calendar to come)
The first Girl Scout meeting will be Monday (8/29)
Dues: Each girl brings $2 to each meeting to help with the year end festivities or activity the girls would like to attend or participate in.
